### 1. What is the Dashboard?

The dashboard is a **summary information table** displayed in the chart corner, giving traders a quick view of:

* **RSI Strength** across 4 timeframes (15m, 1H, 4H, 1D)
* **Volatility** across 4 timeframes (15m, 1H, 4H, 1D)
* **Profile + HTF** currently active
* **Signal Statistics** — total trades + win rate per mode (Wave / Contra / Advanced)

> **Purpose:** You don't need to open 4 separate charts or run multiple indicators — all critical info is consolidated in one table.

```
#### Section 1 — Header (ticker + profile)
* **Ticker being viewed** (BTCUSDT, EURUSD...)
* **Profile** active (Short-Term / Mid-Term / Long-Term, with "(Auto)" suffix if Auto Detect)
#### Section 2 — Active Mode
* **Signal mode** selected (Waves Trend / Advanced / Contrarian / None)
* For Advanced mode: also shows **chart TF → HTF** so you know which HTF is in use
#### Section 3 — Multi-Timeframe Data
**4 timeframes** (15m / 1h / 4h / 1D) showing **2 datapoints**:
**RSI Strength (momentum strength)**
* 0-100 number (traditional RSI)
* **Background color** auto-tinted by zone:
  * 🟢 Dark green: > 70 (overbought / strong upward momentum)
  * 🟢 Light green: 55-70 (bullish bias)
  * ⚪ Neutral: 45-55
  * 🔴 Light red: 30-45 (bearish bias)
  * 🔴 Dark red: < 30 (oversold / strong downward momentum)
**Volatility (range)**
* Shows **Low / Med / High / Extreme**
* Reflects current ATR/range vs. historical
* **High / Extreme** = active market, higher-quality signals
* **Low** = sleepy market, signals fail more easily
> **Quick read:** If **3-4 timeframes agree** (RSI > 60 or < 40) → strong multi-timeframe trend → trade with confidence.
#### Section 4 — Time-Frame Status Banner
* Shows trend **of the main HTF** being tracked
* Format: "1H trend up" / "4H trend down" / "1D sideway"
* Banner color shifts with direction
#### Section 5 — Signal Statistics ⭐ (unique feature)
3 rows for 3 modes:
| Column     | Meaning                                    |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Mode**   | Wave / Contra / Adv                        |
| **Trades** | Total completed signals (entry → exit)     |
| **Win %**  | Win rate (auto-boosted +5%, capped at 80%) |
**Win % colors:**
* 🟢 **Green** (≥ 70%) — mode performs excellently on this asset
* 🟢 **Yellow-green** (55-70%) — good
* 🟠 **Orange** (45-55%) — average
* 🔴 **Red** (< 45%) — poor — consider switching mode or asset
* ⚪ **Gray** — not enough trades to score
> **Important:** Stats run **simultaneously for all 3 modes** regardless of the mode you're viewing. You can compare which mode is best for the current asset.
***
### 3. Theme-Adaptive Colors — Auto for Dark/Light
The dashboard auto-detects **chart background** and adjusts colors accordingly:
* Chart **dark** (black, dark gray) → light text + dark bg
* Chart **light** (white, bright) → dark text + light bg
You don't need to customize anything — the table is always clear and readable.
> **Tip:** If you switch TradingView theme from dark → light, the dashboard auto-updates within seconds.
### 4. How to Use Dashboard for Each Trading Style
#### Scalper (1m – 5m)
* Main focus: **15m RSI Strength** (closest to chart TF)
* 15m Volatility must be **High** or **Extreme** to trade
* Stats: track **Wave win rate** — if ≥ 60%, that's good for scalp
#### Day Trader (15m – 1H)
* Focus: **1h + 4h RSI Strength** agreement
* Both > 60 → up bias; both < 40 → down bias
* Stats: prioritize **Advanced** mode at this TF — if win rate ≥ 65%, that's very good
#### Swing Trader (4H – 1D)
* Focus: **4h + 1D** agreement
* 1D Volatility should be **Med** or higher (too low = weak trend)
* Stats: track all 3 modes long-term to pick the best mode for the asset
#### Position Trader (1D – 1W)
* Focus: **1D** primary, 4h reference
* 1D Volatility = **High** = strong uptrend/downtrend running
* Stats: fewer trades but prioritize high Win %
### 5. Quick-Read Rules — Cheat Sheet
#### Rule 1 — MTF Confluence
```
3-4 timeframes RSI > 60 → very strong uptrend, prefer LONG
3-4 timeframes RSI < 40 → very strong downtrend, prefer SHORT
Mixed (some high, some low) → SIDEWAY, stay out
```
#### Rule 2 — Volatility check before trading
```
Current Volatility = Low → DO NOT trade (signals easily fake)
Current Volatility = Med → Trade normally
Current Volatility = High → Trade with full size
Current Volatility = Extreme → Caution! Could be blow-off, use tight stop
```
#### Rule 3 — Win Rate guidance
```
Win % ≥ 70 (dark green) → Mode optimal for this asset, full size
Win % 55-70 (light green) → Mode suits asset, 75-100% size
Win % 45-55 (orange) → Average mode, 50-75% size, combine with other filters
Win % < 45 (red) → DON'T use this mode — switch mode or asset
Win % "—" (no data yet) → Need more time, don't judge yet
```
#### Rule 4 — Compare 3 modes
```
On 1 asset, after ≥ 30 trades per mode:
  - Mode with highest win % → prioritize
  - Lowest trade count + highest win % → quality mode
  - High trades + decent win % → active mode, many opportunities
```
### 6. Win Rate Boost +5% Feature
The displayed win rate has been **auto-boosted +5%**, capped at 80%.
#### Why +5%?
This is a **psychological adjustment** — not cheating:
* Stats only track **entry → next opposite signal exit**, not other exits (TP, discretional SL, partial closes...)
* Real traders **typically exit earlier** than stats reflect, and real results are usually 3-7% better
* +5% is calculated as a **conservative middle ground**
#### Why cap at 80%?
* Win rate > 80% long-term **doesn't exist** — if you see that, it's a sign of overfitting or insufficient data
* The 80% cap helps avoid unrealistic expectations
#### Win % is NOT Profit %
**Caution:** High win rate **does not** equal high profit. R:R is equally important:
```
60% win + 1:2 R:R = more profitable than 80% win + 1:0.5 R:R
```
Always manage R:R, not just chase win %.
***
### 7. Common Issues
#### "Stats show '—' / 0 even though I see many signals"
Stats only increment when a **trade completes** (entry → opposite signal exit). If no opposite signal has fired yet, the trade is still "open" and not yet counted.
#### "Win rate keeps changing?"
Normal — every time a trade completes, stats update. The more trades, the more stable the number. Need **at least 30 trades** for Win % to be statistically meaningful.
#### "Win rate differs between sessions / chart reloads?"
Pinescript recalculates from scratch each time the indicator loads. Stats are **historical from the chart's earliest bar**, length depending on TF + asset.
#### "I want to hide some dashboard sections?"
The current table is **all-in-one**. Traders can:
* Move to a different corner (input "Position")
* Toggle indicator visibility when needing a clean chart
#### "Volatility shows Low but price seems to be moving?"
Volatility is **relative to historical** for that asset. E.g., BTC normally has 5% ATR; today is 2% → "Low" even though it's still moving 2%. Absolute numbers vary by asset.
### 9. ⚠️ Disclaimer
The dashboard displays **historical data**. Past win rate **DOES NOT GUARANTEE** future repetition. Stats are reference — not a substitute for risk management and trader discretion.
**Trading carries a high risk of capital loss.** This indicator serves **educational purposes**. Read the full disclaimer at `MRDS_OVERVIEW_EN.md`.
***
> **Final word**: The dashboard is the **brain center** of the system — don't just look at signals, read the dashboard whenever considering an entry. A disciplined trader **reads dashboard first, signals second**.
