### 1. What are Advanced Signals?
Advanced Signals is the **most premium signal engine** in the system. It operates on the principle:
> **"A signal is only truly trustworthy when both the chart timeframe AND a higher timeframe agree."**
Specifically:
1. The engine **takes a base signal** from Wave Trend Signals (already filtered through 6 quality layers)
2. **Analyzes a higher timeframe (HTF)** for confirmation
3. **Scores confluence** from 3 HTF factors (0-3 points)
4. **Only fires when ≥ 2/3 confluence** points
5. Further classifies into **STRONG (3/3)** and **NORMAL (2/3)**
> **Result:** Number of signals **drops 30-50%** vs. plain Wave Trend — exchanged for **noticeably higher win rate**, far fewer fakes.

### 2. Why is "Multi-Timeframe" so powerful?
In trading, a classic rule:
> **"Trade with the higher timeframe trend."**
The reasons:
* Smaller timeframes have more **noise/whipsaw** — easy to fake
* Higher timeframes are **slower but more reliable** — require larger force to move
* When two timeframes **agree**, the probability of trend continuation is much higher

### 5. STRONG vs NORMAL — Visual Distinction
#### STRONG (3/3 confluence)
* **Solid, large triangle**, with "STRONG" label
* Dark green (BUY) or dark red (SELL)
* This is the **best setup** in the entire system
#### NORMAL (2/3 confluence)
* **Lighter, smaller triangle**, with "BUY" or "SELL" label
* Still very good — just missing 1 of 3 factors

> * STRONG → 100% planned size
> * NORMAL → 75% planned size
> * Ensure R:R ≥ 1:2 for both

### 6. When to Use Advanced Signals
#### ✅ Use when:
* You're a **swing trader** or **position trader** (timeframe ≥ 15m)
* You prioritize **quality over quantity** of signals
* You don't have time to monitor charts continuously — need high-quality signals
* You're trading assets with **lots of noise** (small-cap stocks, altcoins, exotic FX)
#### ❌ Don't use when:
* You're a **scalper** on very small TF (1m) — Advanced will give too few signals
* You want to **catch every small wave** — switch to Wave Trend
* HTF is **missing data** (newly listed asset, holiday with partial data)

### 8. Advanced Signals Trading Workflow
#### Step 1 — Choose TF by style
* Day trade → 15m or 1H chart
* Swing trade → 4H chart

#### Step 5 — Entry, Stop, TP
* **ENTRY** — market on triangle confirm, or limit at small pullback to nearest EMA
* **STOP** — beyond nearest swing low/high, or ATR-based
* **TP1** — 1R (lock 1/3) — secures capital if reversal
* **TP2** — 2-3R (lock 1/3) — most profit lives here
* **TP3** — trail via Trend Cloud base (final 1/3) — capture full wave if trend extends
#### Step 6 — Watch for exit
* **Candle color flip** from green → red (or reverse) → trend-change warning
* **Opposite-direction Advanced triangle** appears → close full position immediately

### 9. Tips to Boost Win Rate
#### Tip 1 — Trade only STRONG when starting
New traders should **trade only STRONG** for first 50-100 trades to build confidence. Then expand to NORMAL.
#### Tip 2 — Disable Advanced on holidays / news days
Advanced uses HTF — on major holidays (US/EU holidays, Lunar new year), HTF data may have **large gaps** → confluence unreliable. Best to **stay out** these days.
#### Tip 3 — Combine with Contrarian for exit
* Entry: Advanced (high quality)
* Exit: When **opposite Contrarian** appears → reversal forming
#### Tip 4 — Track win rate per asset
Use dashboard to monitor: BTC may show 70% win rate with Advanced, but a small altcoin may only show 55%. Trade assets where Advanced **tracks best**.
#### Tip 5 — Don't FOMO after missing a STRONG
A STRONG signal that already moved → DON'T chase. Wait for pullback or next STRONG. Chasing entries is the fastest way to drop your win rate.
#### Tip 6 — Beware 2 opposite STRONG signals back-to-back
If STRONG BUY → a few candles later STRONG SELL → that's a sign **HTF is flipping hard**. Prefer to **stay out** until one direction holds.

#### Q. I'm on a 1H chart, what HTF does the system use?
A. **4H** (per the mapping table). You don't see the 4H chart but the system reads it.
#### Q. When can HTF data be missing?
A. Newly listed assets, beginning of trading session (insufficient HTF bars), or large data gaps. In these cases Advanced fires less — that's **correct behavior**, not a bug.
#### Q. Can I choose a different HTF?
A. Currently HTF is **fixed auto-detect** to ensure consistent experience. The HTF/chart ratios are tuned to work best for most assets.
#### Q. Does Advanced repaint?
A. **NO.** The system uses `lookahead_off` — signals lock in when the bar closes and **don't change** afterward.
#### Q. Why am I seeing too few signals?
A. That's **the design** of Advanced — fewer but better. If you need more signals:
* Switch to Wave Trend mode
* Drop to a smaller TF (4H → 1H)
* Use higher-volatility assets
#### Q. Is STRONG guaranteed to win?
A. **Nothing is 100%** in trading. STRONG has **higher probability**, but can still fail since markets are never deterministic. Risk management is paramount.
