# Multi-timeframe Pullback

Here is a strategy for catching pullbacks using the mrD-RSI Pullback and mrD-Signals Premium indicators in combination.

The main advantage of this strategy is that the signals often reach the Take Profit (TP) target quickly.

The suitable trading time frames are 5-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, and 2-hour.

Suitable for trading large-cap assets.

Configure settings on the mrD-Signals Premium indicator.

## Identify signals on the higher timeframe.

RSI value appears on the higher timeframes, visible on the chart or in the RSI data panel at the bottom right corner of the screen.

When a signal appears on the 1-hour timeframe, you can trade on the 5-minute, 15-minute, and 30-minute timeframes.

You can set up an alert on the mrD-RSI Pullback indicator to receive notifications when a Pullback signal occurs.

Set up Buy Pullback and Sell Pullback for each timeframe you want to trade; you can configure it for 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, and 2h timeframes.

* When a signal appears on the 15-minute timeframe, you can trade on the 5-minute timeframe.
* When a signal appears on the 30-minute timeframe, you can trade on the 5-minute and 15-minute timeframes.
* When a signal appears on the 1-hour timeframe, you can trade on the 5-minute, 15-minute, and 30-minute timeframes.
* When a signal appears on the 4-hour timeframe, you can trade on the 5-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, and 2-hour timeframes.

Note: The Pullback on the lower timeframes should only be traded on the first Pullback. If a lower timeframe has already moved, you can skip the timeframe and trade on a higher timeframe.

| Take-profit (you can choose one of three conditions to take profit). |
- According to R: R 1:1; 1:2
- Previous price high
- When the Exit pullback signal appears (indicated by a green "X")
|

Results on the 15-minute chart:

The trade hit the TP at 1R with a profit of +$490. The price moved immediately when the pullback triangle appeared.

After trading signals on a smaller timeframe, move on to trading on a larger one. When a signal fails, it might indicate that the Pullback wave is over, so it's advisable to stop trading and wait for another signal.

For example: If the trade on the 5-minute timeframe wins, the 15-minute timeframe wins, but the 30-minute timeframe fails, you can stop trading on the next timeframe.

\
The sequence for trading Pullbacks across multiple timeframes: trade on the 5-minute timeframe, then move to the 15-minute timeframe, followed by the 30-minute, and then the 1-hour timeframe, until the current timeframe shows a Pullback signal.

After successfully trading a Pullback on the 15-minute timeframe, proceed to trade on the next timeframe, which is the 30-minute.
