# TradingView Set up

The visual elements displayed on your screen significantly impact your psychology and chart analysis prior to making trading decisions. Therefore, configuring TradingView for optimal clarity, comfort, and personal preference is essential. This allows you to focus on price action and make well-informed, strategic trading decisions.

**The initial interface of TradingView before any configuration or setup:**

First, remove the Volume indicator to create a cleaner and more spacious chart.

To configure TradingView, right-click on the screen and select 'Settings,' or double-click on the candlestick chart.

* In the **'Symbol'** section: the default configuration of TradingView before any modifications.

Click to select the candle colors as instructed to avoid psychological influence from the standard green and red colors. This will also ensure the colors align with the candles after adding the mrD-Indicators.&#x20;

For the Timezone, select the time zone of your location to ensure the time displayed on TradingView matches your local time.

* The '**Status Line**' section is currently displaying TradingView's default settings:

In this section, you need to adjust the settings for a cleaner display. Select the 'Ticker' option and remove unnecessary ticks, as shown in the image below.

* The '**Scales and Lines**' section is currently displaying TradingView's default settings:

You need to adjust the colors and opacity settings, selecting the colors and opacity levels that are most comfortable for you.

For unnecessary sections, select 'Hidden' as shown in the guide below to hide any irrelevant parts.

* The '**Canvas**' section is currently displaying TradingView's default settings:

In this 'Canvas' section, you need to select a background color that suits you. You can follow the color suggestions shown in the image below.

In this 'Trading' section, you can disable the 'Buy/Sell' buttons.

In this 'Events' section, you can disable unnecessary options to further declutter the display.

In the TradingView drawing tools, you should star the frequently used drawing tools for convenience. This will facilitate quick access and streamline your drawing and editing tasks.

In the starred drawing tools, you can toggle their visibility by clicking the star icon in the lower-left corner of the TradingView screen.

**Adding indicators to TradingView:**

To add indicators to TradingView, click on the 'Indicators' section, select 'Invite-only,' and click on each indicator to add it for use.

In the indicator settings (by clicking the settings icon on the indicator or double-clicking on any part of the indicator), you can toggle each feature on or off to see its effects.

In the mrD-Smart Ranges indicator, you can customize the settings as shown in the image below, with the current timeframe set to 1 hour. If you switch to a different timeframe, you may need to adjust the settings accordingly for higher timeframes.

* Proceed to add and configure the mrD-RSI Premium indicator.

To achieve a balanced and harmonious chart, click on the settings icon in the lower-right corner of the TradingView screen and select 'Auto' (fits data to screen). \
You can then drag to adjust the display range of the mrD-RSI Premium indicator to fit the overall screen view.

After completing the setup, be sure to click 'Save As' to save your configured settings. You can also create and save additional configurations as needed.
